We’ve had a great start to the year. This first month was filled with a lot of community building and welcoming new friends to New LA. Our mission pillar focus is Respect for Self and Others and we love seeing students modeling kindness throughout the day.

This month we also kicked off our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. We are learning about Hispanic culture and identity as well as contributions from notable Latin Americans. We will share all of our learning in an assembly next month.
