Bio
Jessica Fox was born on the east coast and grew up in Virginia. Although she has experience teaching students in middle and high school, she is most passionate about teaching younger students. Jessica was a founding teacher at elementary charter schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Lawrence, Massachusetts. When given the opportunity to be a founding teacher at New Los Angeles Elementary, Jessica jumped at the chance! She feels like she has found her home in the New LA community where she can continue to bring her passion for inquiry-based and action-oriented curriculum to the classroom. Jessica earned her Master’s in Reading and Language at the University of Massachusetts, and recently earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UCLA. Stepping into the role of Assistant Principal allows her to support students and teachers school wide. Jessica is excited to be living in Los Angeles where hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors are year-round activities.
